THE STORY
Based on the true story of one teenage boy who escapes abuse and neglect only to be ensnared by a psychotic stalker who would spend years chasing him across the country and around the world. In this no-holds-bar memoir, we follow a man from high school through his 20s, trying to escape his past and stalker.
To break free from his stalker, Mark joins the Marines, but she is even able to stalk him in the military. Betty escalates her desperate pursuit for Mark's love, leading to lies, fraud and attempted murder.
He forms lifelong friendships with his fellow Marines, but to escape the stress of his stalker he finds himself indulging in sexual misadventures, alcohol-fueled debauchery and even finding real love and more heartbreak.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mike Cassano (pen name is Randall Stevens) is a successful businessman in Denver, Colorado. He spent four years in the Marines, more than 20 years as a recruiter and sales executive at well-known recruiting firms, and currently runs his own recruiting firm, Agile4Solutions, with his business partner Jeff Himebaugh. Mike enjoys writing books, traveling, playing recreational softball, hanging out with friends and living in downtown Denver.
